The Foundations of HFK originate back over 90 years. Under its original name, Maunder & Jeffrey Solicitors, the firm established itself as a celebrated local commercial legal practice with roots dating back to the 1940's. The late Eric Maunder, who served in the RAAF during World War II, was a second generation family member of the firm.
In the mid 1980's, Angelo Crones and Donald A Mayes OAM took over the leadership of Maunder & Jeffrey through natural succession and to this day remain affiliated with HFK Lawyers.
Our service offerings have expanded over the decades beyond the original localised commercial expertise and into a multi disciplinary practice servicing clients across all Australian jurisdictions.
Under the leadership of James Hatzopoulos, Michael Finch and Klevis Kllogjri, HFK looks to honour its rich history while bringing the practice forward with fresh innovations, expanded service areas and enhanced client experience.
